Xbox Live House Party prices and dates

Posted by

We already know the lineup for the third Xbox Live House Party and know we also know how much and when each of the four titles will be available. The promotion will kick off on the fifteenth with Warp for 800 points. The game casts you as a cute alien attempting to teleport it’s way out of a research facility. A week later on the twenty-second the real heavy hitter of the promotion comes in the form of Alan Wake’s American Nightmare which naturally costs 1,200 points. This downloadable follow-up to last year’s full game seems to be more focussed on the action but there will be at least some forward progression to the plot.

Nexuiz is coming on the twenty-ninth and that game has a bizarre lineage. It was once an open-source arena shooter running on the Quake engine that was built and maintained by it’s fans. It is now an arena based shooter running on the Crysis 2 engine and being put out by Illfonic who are owned by the singer Rafeal Sadiiq. It will costs you 8oo points. Last up and it’s often delayed suvival-sim I Am Alive. It’ll cost 1,200 points and rounds out the promotion. You will get 800 points if you buy all four games during the promotion.

  • Alan Wake is tempting. Didn’t expect to like the Alan Wake but the action was surprisingly different and ended up giving it two play throughs which is rare these days.
