Sony Computer Entertainment boss Kaz Harai has just announced that some PSN functionality is being restored. Firmware update 3.61 is now available, this update will require you to change your password. It’s the first sign of life since the service was discontinued on the 19th of April. The service is being restored on a region to region basis so don’t fret if you haven’t gotten the update yet. The first part of the update restores multiplayer play, but it might take a while for this to get to everyone. The PSN is showing the first sign of life since it was infiltrated almost a month ago. Stay tuned for further updates.
