If you thought Gotham City Impostors sounded weird, then wait till you see this.

Veteran developer Monolith announced a Batman FPS entitled Gotham City Impostors yesterday, it sounded pretty strange. The game involves a two teams of four people who are impersonating the Joker or Batman. You’ll be able to hear us nattering about just how confounded we were by the game on the podcast we recorded today. I imagine we would have been even more confused if we’d of seen the first piece of artwork for the game, which released today:

I can’t see Batman approving of kilts, guns or people impersonating him. It does show that what we heard about the game being customisable is probably true, since all of the characters in the shot look completely different. Expect more on this increasingly bizarre title in the rup to, and during, the upcoming E3 expo in Los Angeles.
